First of all, when I say a natural supplement, I’m talking about anything that comes directly from nature. Now there are some things that you can use directly in this manner, and some that you will have to buy in a store that has had some simple process, such as drying, liquidizing or concentrating done to it that may not be something the average person can do in their own kitchens. Or maybe they are, but most people wouldn’t be bothered doing them when its much simpler to go out to the local health store and buy them.

It goes without saying that green tea is one of the few completely natural products that can have such a profound effect on a person’s health and weight that has been scientifically and medically proven to be of benefit in this area. Green tea, when taken daily not only helps to improve your health by lowering cholesterol levels, mopping up dangerous free radicals and boosting your immune system, it actually makes you body burn more calories by boosting your metabolism.

This is so important for anyone trying to lose weight, because one of the common obstacles is a lack of energy and a sluggish metabolism stopping you from burning off excess calories in order t5o lose the weight. Drinking two to three cups of green tea every day will kick-start your metabolism and really improve your digestive system.

A natural Weight Loss Supplement that you can easily get your hands on and comes relatively cheaply would be a real boon to your weight loss efforts, no doubt. But where do you find such hidden treasures? This is one natural health aid that you won’t find in any supplement stores and it doesn’t come in pill or capsule form either. In general, most of these taste absolutely wonderful and they have more health benefits than just weight loss alone. So what is this magical and wonder natural weight loss supplement?

Fresh fruit!

Yes, it may seem hard to believe, especially if you have lived on a diet of hamburgers, fries, pizza, microwave meals, Chinese takeouts and the omnipresent steak meals for the as long as you can remember, then you may be rather surprised that I include this group of foods as actual weight loss supplements at all.

But in truth, eating 5 portions of fresh fruit every day will help you to lose weight in ways you are probably not expecting.

First of all, fresh fruit contains dietary fiber. Know what that is? Its what you don’t find in all the junk food you’ve been stuffing your face with. Its what your body needs in order to properly and completely digest your food and then eliminate waste completely. If this doesn’t happen, then you end up carrying around excess baggage in your intestines that you can’t always shift without them.

Its true and shocking at the same time. But its true, nonetheless. And when you think about it, when your diet is so poor, what else would you expect? So by adding fresh fruit in the form of apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, mango, pineapple, bananas etc you give yourself a daily booster of dietary fiber, additional vitamins and minerals and a whole host of other nutrients that you can’t get from junk food and you’ll jump-start your metabolism.
